Ng Junyang

Yang is a recording/mixing engineer who graduated from Berklee College of Music in 2018 with a Bachelor’s degree in Music Production and Engineering. Over the years, he had the chance to mix and record for a wide range of acts, including Blu DeTiger, Grammy-winning trumpeter Shunzo Ohno, Sammy Rae & The Friends, Kinah Azmeh, and Nir Felder. He has worked with Universal Music Group and had his work featured in Rolling Stone India, All About Jazz, The New York Times, and more.

He was the staff engineer at Virtue and Vice Studios and Rift Studios in NYC, and worked with Jerry Barnes (Chic). In live sound, He has handled front-of-house, monitors, and broadcast mixes for artists such as Cigarettes After Sex, John Clayton, and Herlin Riley, with appearances at events including Montclair Jazz Festival and AAPI Jazz Festival.
