Mark Spencer

Mark’s career in the arts and entertainment industry started 20 years ago as a session musician and instructor. Since moving into the field of sound engineering he has travelled the world with some of Singapore’s top acts. These include Jasmine Sokko, The Sam Willows and Gentle Bones. Broadcast works include productions such as Sony’s Asia’s Got Talent, Mediacorp’s SPOP Sing! and Esplanade’s Baybeats. As a music producer and mix engineer his credits include lullaboy, Bear Culture and Cross Ratio Entertainment. He is also a regular fixture at the country’s largest music festivals such as IGNITE! Music Festival , Laneway Festival and Neon Lights. Along with these, he has also founded and runs a technical management, show production and artist curation company that has worked with ArtBox, Sofar Sounds and a number of local & international artists. 
 
When not at work Mark writes and records his own music, enjoys cycling and connecting with his wife and friends. He also counts avoiding the circuit baking phenomenon as one of his greatest accomplishments. He is passionate about constantly learning and looks forward to sharing his knowledge and skills with the SOMA family.
