Olivia Wang

Olivia Wang began playing the piano at the age of 5. She later learned to play the flute and clarinet in her school band, where she served as the flute section leader. She studied piano under Yuko Kamimoto at the Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts, gaining invaluable teaching skills and studying music pedagogy. Olivia has been teaching piano for six years, instructing students ranging from 6 to 80 years old.

In 2021, Olivia began performing as a soprano in Jeremy Koh’s musical productions and concerts, as well as in the Church of the Good Shepherd’s annual musical production, Christmas in Queenstown. She also played the piano as an accompanist in the Singapore Symphony’s pocket version of Mozart’s Marriage of Figaro at the Victoria Concert Hall, part of the Light to Night Festival 2024. Additionally, Olivia served as a pianist and guitarist in her church band for 10 years, where she developed skills in pop music and improvisation.
