Louis Quek, known as Intriguant, is a renowned music producer, sound designer, and DJ specializing in cutting-edge electronic music. Holding a BA(Hons) in Music Technology from Lasalle College of the Arts, he excels in blending textural sounds with syncopated beats, creating deeply meaningful aural experiences.
Louis’ debut album, Recluse, released by Syndicate in 2017, received critical acclaim internationally for its innovative audio-visual presentation. As a sound designer, he collaborates across disciplines, composing music and creating soundscapes for art installations and theatre productions. His work includes collaborations with Toy Factory Productions Ltd, the National Arts Council, and the Singapore International Festival of the Arts, among others.
He has represented Singapore at numerous international music festivals, including St. Jerome’s Laneway Festival Singapore, SingJazz Festival, and BIGSOUND Festival (Brisbane). His recent releases, such as Spirits, have been distributed globally, further cementing his impact on the electronic music scene.
